With what should’ve been Bowie’s 75th birthday, Adobe wanted to mark the icon’s influence, impact, and inspiration. For Adobe, pairing with a pioneer of creativity like Bowie was the perfect fit. While showcasing adobe’s creative capabilities, we created immersive experiences to bring Bowie back.
Using technology, we were going to revive an iconic legend into today’s pop culture.
At Adobe’s flagship global events, we created a gallery of immersive AR experiences and his iconic artwork was reborn.
We created a Bowie fan world complete with red carpets, exclusive artwork to download, a Bowie dressing room, a live AR photobooth, and filters for fans to try on his most iconic looks.
We not only brought back the classic visuals, we also created a genuine experience for them to be enjoyed.
Intertwining reality and the virtual experience, the creative drove them to the Adobe x Bowie 75 Landing Page where they’d find unique digital graphics for their own creations.
Mirroring the man who continually changed his face, we created AR filters across Instagram allowing users to become Bowie.
